"When service members are discharged, we should express our gratitude for their profound personal sacrifice, not hand them a bill for their hospital food." ~ Barbara Boxer
I chose the quote above because my father-in-law, a World War II Navy veteran, is currently in the hospital, and he's freaking out about a medical bill that he has due July 5.
Today I am grate*full...
1. for the insurance I have through my job.
2. that my father-in-law said we could borrow his car while he's in the hospital (silver linings y'all...)
3. for coffee.
4. for a great boss who was totally cool when I sent him a text that I might be late this morning.
5. that the attorney's office was very nice on the phone.
